Candle Care

  • Always burn candles within sight; never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable objects.
  • Keep burning candles away from children and pets.
  • Trim the wick to 1/4" before lighting and each time it needs trimming. Improperly trimmed wicks can cause excessive flickering, smoke, and soot. A charred wick (the 'mushroom' top on cotton wicks) should be removed to prevent these issues and potential secondary ignition. Trimming the wick ensures a clean, safe burn.
  • Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Stop burning when only 1/4" of wax remains in the container.
